Hard to find item in stores. Arrived sealed and was fresh. It doesn’t have a strong orange smell, but the flavor is wonderful!! I made orange-spiced sugar coated pecans over the holidays and I ran the orange peel through the coffee grinder to make a fine powder and to release the flavor. The pecans definetly had a distinct orange flavor after baking. They were such a favorite of the family that 2lbs of pecans disappeared in less than a week and a half. Next cooking idea is to make an BBQ rub for chicken using this. The possibilities are there with some creative thinking. Recommend for any home chef.

I purchased this when I was experiencing acid reflux to flavor things. If you’re hoping for a bright orange flavor, you will not get it with this. I added it to my oatmeal and I could not really taste it.

I read a suggestion for mixing half organic orange peel with half Ceylon cinnamon in a shaker to add a nice flavor to things like hot oatmeal. It was a great suggestion! The Ceylon cinnamon has a naturally sweet flavor and the orange peel gives it just the right amount of zest. 🙂

I bought this to add flavor to my green tea. I added one teaspoon with the tea bag in a 10 oz. cup. I steeped it for three minutes. Absolutely no orange flavor. I removed the tea bag and let the orange peel steep another five minutes, and still no orange flavor. Refunds are not available on this product. If you want to add orange flavor to your tea, this is not the product to buy.

One sniff of this told me it was everything I needed and just the right balance of nuance, flavor and enhancement to my baking. I am going to make some gluten free pumpernickel bread and this was this last spice I needed, Just looking at it and sniffing its subtle aroma told me that I was in for a treat. Works great as replacement for orange zest in a pinch. The fresh orange zest is always better but a good staple to have on hand.

Works great when there isn’t a real orange handy. Real is obviously better, but I keep this on the shelf for convenience. I have oranges growing in the yard but they aren’t there all year. It really annoys me to have to pay for them to just scrape off the peel. It is also good to sprinkle on pork chops to add some unexpected flavor.

Not the bitter orange peel. On the sweet side! Great!
