So you’re looking for a cheap laptop? Maybe you should consider buying a used/refurbished laptop instead of this. CHUWI’s quality has improved in recent years, but you’re still buying a cheaply-made laptop from a company with a limited footprint in the US – so your customer support experience when you have problems (and you will have problems) will be frustrating and limited. In the case of the Herobook, the case is made of plastic, so is the cover on the hinge. The unit that arrived and I returned a day later creaked, and squeaked and the hinge seemed the main culprit. Could I have sent it off to CHUWI for repairs? No. The only return option you will have buying from CHUWI will be Amazon’s return window.

Horrible! Don’t Buy!

Do not buy this laptop! I bought it for my daughter for her birthday because she was having trouble with her old one. I knew it wasn’t a great laptop but she’s hard on things so I didn’t want to spend a lot of money until she’s more responsible. The specs looked good enough for what she needed and at the time the product had good reviews. I got it over 30 days before her birthday (huge mistake) and couldn’t return. It’s extremely slow, continuously disconnects from the wifi and is actually a step down from her old laptop. She can’t play Roblox, even though the specs are more than the game requires. She uses her old laptop with missing keys and other damage because it still out performs the Chuwi laptop. If you have a problem with this laptop, you’re on your own! I submitted a ticket 2 months ago and never got a response.

This laptop is awesome at first when i got it i was like this is not going to be good and i did get worried for the first few minutes but then i installed google chrome and when i say it was WAY faster it was like VERY fast. its super light weight setup was fairly quick and even had my xbox games available and i love it i installed netflix and spotify and i did a test where i had a game open (Forza horizon 3) then i had spotify open playing a song and netflix open with a movie paused and google chrome open with 6 tabs and still was running very fast took less than 3 seconds to load up a new tab

When I was looking to purchase a laptop for my son’s new job, I wasn’t looking for anything fancy. I have never heard of this brand, but price wise is was very compatible to the well known brands. We decided to give it a try…needless to say, I am extremely happy with my purchase. My son is happy with the purchase. It provides him with necessary storage, battery life is great, not to mention how lightweight it is. I will definitely consider this brand again.

I honestly appreciated so many nice features such as the high resolution 1080 mp such eye popping graphics. Also, how compact and light the laptop is. Until maybe day 3 the scroll lock button came on and locked my keyboard. I tried troubleshooting but nothing worked. I purchased this laptop for work so this made it inconvenient. I had some options but I chose to return it and did receive a full refund. I didn’t have the touchscreen feature.
