Classic Mini Retro Game Console

This is a fun product. Not for everyone but I like it.
1. Small and very light weight
2. Cord is slightly shorter than I would like. (Both power and AV)
3. Controller cord is decent
4. Cost is good compared to amount of games it provides.
5. Showed up slowly (Due to Corona-time)
6. Battery Life? System plugs into wall. No batteryWith that said I can tell you that I bought this with the intent of having the kids play all the old Nintendo games. There are some Nintendo but also old Atari classics. The site says there are 620 games. I don’t believe that is 100 percent accurate. Some games are repeated (the same) and are counted as another game but still there are many games. I found Mario but couldn’t find Zelda. Maybe due to copyright issues or maybe under a different name? Either way that was the one game I wished was on it. Overall, it’s still a fun product to have if you enjoy the simplistic time of video games.

Worst thirty dollars ever spent only a hand full of games work and only found two that support two players. Anyone tell me how to return please.

It’s great. I had all of the games that I wanted. Turtles 1,2,3, contra, double dragon, ninja garden, Mario, Dr. Mario, Batman, and others. I wish that it had Tecmo Bowl and Battletoads, but no big deal.
The controllers feel authentic and the OS is smooth. It’s great for the price.The 2 player function does work. Don’t listen to Chelsie’s review. It must be fake.

I literally just got this and I was so excited to open it and play! I have tried two different televisions and it is not working at all….the console turns on just fine but it just does not seem to be able to communicate with any TV. We have tried newer and older TVs and nothing. So sad!!

Some games work, some don’t

Update: one of our controllers somehow broke. Went on Amazon to search for a replacement. NONE:( however…. I unscrewed the controller and found the problem. Reposition the plate inside so that the wires have contact once again. FIXED!!)

Going into this, I know you can’t save progress. If you really really want to save progress, spend more for an authentic mini console. This generic system brings me back to my childhood. I am also very glad I did not spend extra for the real thing. The novelty wore off for me after playing a variety of games in the first hour. Then it was back to work at home. However, my kids 6 and 9 have a BLAST every time. I read a review that the two players option doesn’t work… well, they’ve played pinball, contra, and pikachu and the two players option works. It’s like having an arcade in your very own living room lol so glad I didn’t spend $150 on the real thing. The real one also comes with only one controller. This mini console is probably the best $30 I‘ve spent since COVID. If you’re looking for a change of pace from smart phone games, get this mini console. And if you were born in the 70s/early 80s, and are familiar with Nintendo, get this and save your $$$ from buying the marked up one for $150 when it sold for $50 three years ago.

There’s about 10 games that are repeated several times. So there’s only approximately 600 games but… This is nostalgic and happy to own this.
