PXN V900 PC Gaming Racing Steering Wheel

I used to go to the arcade one a month with my kids. However, the pandemic has not allowed us to do that. So I wanted to play racing games at my home without blowing too much money. This set doesn’t have a clutch pedal and it also does not have dedicate shift knob. It has a shifting mechanism like modern car, “+” on the right and “-” on the left of the steering wheel.
I got the game Need For Speed Most Wanted a while ago, but I have never played it because playing racing games with keyboard and mouse set up isn’t as immerse and fun. With this wheel and the pedals, I got addicted and played NFS for hours. FYI, I used this on the computer. The wheel is plugged in via USB interface, the pedals are plugged into the wheel.
My tips for using this gaming wheel on a desktop computer set up are:
+ Adjust the sensitivity of the wheel to the highest or the wheel would feels unresponsive and delay.
+ Unless you play a truck simulator or taxi driving game, 270 degree is easier to drive than 900 degree.
+ Change 1 button on the wheel as the brake button. When racing, I leave my right foot on the speed pedal only. I don’t use the brake pedal unless the game has a clutch in it. Then I would change the brake pedal to be the clutch. I find it easier to drift and turn by using the brake with a button than the stepping on the brake pedal.
The feedback vibration also helps with the immersion. When I crashes in the game or have a near miss accident, the wheel would vibrate. You could turn it off if you don’t want that feature. All in all, if you want to play any game related to driving, get a gaming steering wheel. For this set, I feel the price is right, it is not expensive, good for starter.

This is a very good steering wheel for my Nintendo switch. The quality of the unit is great specially the feel of the wheel itself and buttons also the rumble feedback vibration during the gameplay, plus the ability to change the 900 degree to 270 degree with a single button. We had great fun with Mario Kart and also Grid, just for the heads up in Grid you have to manually remap the pedals in order to work with the game. Other than that I would say for the price point, this steering wheel is a very good buy. I am looking forward for more hours of game play with this steering wheel.

For a budget steering wheel this is good. However YOU NEED A DATA CABLE. Use the one it comes with or look for a micro USB cable that has data transfer abilities. ITS A MUST HAVE!!! Over all the steering is great buttons feel good. Paddles have a nice click. Also the set up is easy.

This item hooks to your game pad. So when connected to ps4, games recognize it as your game pad not a steering wheel. There is no way to use wheel settings in games.

While playing games i noticed when you have it in Wheel mode it has really “jerky” reactions in game i did try to calibrate it using windows controller setup but didn’t help, and you can even see the sensor moving in steps when turning the steering wheel. I would highly recommend saving a little more and getting yourself a G29/G290.

My son is really happy with the steering wheel. We have tested it on all of the consoles that can be uses with and no problems so far.
